Shipping & Delivery Information
Your order will normally be processed and despatched the same day if the items are in stock and the order is received by 3.00pm Monday to Friday.
Unless otherwise agreed with you, We normally use one of two methods to ship orders;
smaller items are dispatched by Royal mail 1st class post. Small items of higher value may be shipped using Royal mail Special Delivery. This will require a signature and Royal Mail will only make one attempt to deliver a package. If no one is available to sign for the package a card will be left requesting you to contact your local Royal Mail delivery office within seven days to arrange for the package to be re delivered or you can collect the item in person. Please note, if you do collect the package in person some form of identification will be required. If you do not contact your delivery office within seven days the package will be returned to us.
Larger heavier items will be dispatched using a courier service. A signature is required for all items shipped by courier and packages are usually delivered between the times of 8.30am and 5.30pm. If no one is available to sign for the package then the courier service will leave a notification card and make a second attempt to deliver the package at a later date. If no one is available to sign for the package at the second attempt the package will be returned to us.
If your shipment requires a signature we will inform you of this by email on the day the package is dispatched.
We can pass any special shipping instructions on to the courier service but cannot be responsible for how they act on them.
If a package is returned to us because Royal mail or the courier service have been unable to deliver there may be additional charges to ship the order again.
Q: How do I find out the make or model of my Garage Door?
A: The manufacturer of your garage door is usually displayed either on the handle or on the door somewhere. Look closely at the handle or lock, this usually has the manufacturers name displayed. There is often a manufacturers label displayed on the inside of the door.
